Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan form NATO-style mutual defence pact
Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have signed a mutual defence pact modelled on NATO's Article 5, meaning an attack on one signatory will be treated as an attack on all. The alliance's founders have not ruled out expanding it to other regional countries in the future.
