LA Jazz Festival with John Legend and Janelle Monáe canceled at last minute
The inaugural LA Jazz Fest, scheduled for August 7–23, was canceled at the very last minute. The festival had promised major events including a two-day concert at Dockweiler Beach featuring John Legend, Janelle Monáe, Parliament/Funkadelic and Raphael Saadiq. Online commenters are already drawing comparisons to the infamously doomed Fyre Festival.
