Oman says Hormuz talks positive, but Iran warns strait deal won't open waterway

Oman reported that talks on establishing a new shipping route through the Strait of Hormuz are progressing positively. Iran, however, warned that any deal reached would not amount to opening the strait to free passage. Both sides signal some progress, but a definitive breakthrough remains unclear.
