Court: insurer must pay full compensation despite victim not wearing seatbelt
The Regional Court in Kielce dismissed an appeal by an insurer seeking to reduce compensation paid to relatives of a 66-year-old woman killed by a drunk driver. The insurer argued the victim was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The court ruled this did not justify lowering the payout to her family.
