Preston beat Huddersfield on penalties at Goodison Park; Millwall keeper saves four in shootout
Ten-man Preston North End knocked Huddersfield out of the Carabao Cup on penalties after a 1-1 draw, with Jusef Erabi equalising in stoppage time before Delano Burgzorg scored the winner in the shootout. Goalkeeper Daniel Iversen saved two penalties; Preston played 69 minutes with ten men after Lewis Gibson's red card. The game was held at Goodison Park as Preston's Deepdale pitch was not ready. In another tie, Millwall goalkeeper Lukas Jensen saved four penalties to beat QPR.
