EU Commission meets Meta and TikTok over Ceuta disinformation

European Commission Vice-President for Digital Affairs Henna Virkkunen announced that the EC met with representatives of Meta and TikTok on Friday to discuss the situation in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. The talks focused on Russian disinformation spreading across both platforms. Virkkunen called on the companies to step up their efforts to combat false content.
