Trump calls GOP senator a "traitor" after Todd Blanche confirmed 50-49 as attorney general

The US Senate confirmed Todd Blanche, President Trump's former personal defence lawyer, as attorney general in a 50-49 overnight vote. Two Republican senators broke ranks and voted against Blanche alongside Democrats. Trump publicly condemned at least one of the dissenting Republicans as a "traitor" for refusing to back his nominee.
