EU talks with big tech over Ceuta misinformation crisis

EU digital chief Henna Virkkunen has called for closer monitoring of social media platforms following the spread of misinformation during the recent migration crisis at Spain's Ceuta. Brussels has held talks with major tech companies on the matter. Virkkunen indicated platforms must do more to counter the spread of false information in real time.
