Belka: Poland avoids euro debate because politicians fear the polls

Former Prime Minister and former NBP governor Marek Belka told PAP that Poland's accession to the eurozone has become a political taboo because politicians fear unfavourable poll results. He believes only a major economic crisis could shift Polish public opinion in favour of adopting the euro.
