Researchers bought noreply.net and received corporate secrets from hundreds of firms
Two security researchers purchased cheap domains — including noreply.net and deleteduser.com — and set up email listening services on them. They discovered that hundreds of companies routinely send sensitive corporate information to "no-reply" addresses, not realising someone could be receiving it. The experiment exposed the massive scale of corporate data leakage through poorly managed email addresses.
