Lightning Network servers exploited: attackers steal wallet credentials via BTCPay

Attackers exploited a vulnerability in LND Lightning Network payment servers, stealing credentials that can control Lightning wallets and move funds. BTCPay Server warned all users running LND to update immediately or take their servers offline. The incident is the latest in a series of Bitcoin infrastructure exploits.
