Anastazja Kuś won gold in the 400 metres at the U20 World Championships in Eugene, USA. The Polish athlete admitted she believed she was on course for silver as she entered the final straight, thinking an American rival was ahead. She ultimately overtook her opponent to claim the top spot on the podium.
