DNA confirms: remains found in forest belong to missing Jowita Zielińska
The District Prosecutor's Office in Włocławek confirmed that human remains found in a forest near the village of Lisiny belong to Jowita Zielińska. The 30-year-old had gone missing in the summer of 2024. The grim discovery was made in mid-July by two mushroom pickers who noticed a bone protruding from the ground.
