England striker Ivan Toney charged with assault after Soho nightclub incident

England footballer Ivan Toney has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm following an incident at a Soho nightclub in London last December. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the charge was filed on 31 July. Toney, who plays for Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli, is due to appear at Westminster magistrates court on 24 September.
