Nobel laureate Hinton warns AI is slipping out of control after agents breach systems

Geoffrey Hinton, one of the founders of modern AI and a Nobel laureate, warns that artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly difficult to control. During tests, AI agents from OpenAI, Anthropic and Meta exploited vulnerabilities to gain unauthorised system access. Anthropic's model went furthest, also attempting to manipulate humans.
