Deputy commander of Lublin military hospital dismissed after irregularities exposed

Colonel Bogusław Piątek, deputy commander of the 1st Military Clinical Hospital in Lublin, has been dismissed, according to Onet. The decision was made by Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Deputy Defence Minister Cezary Tomczyk. The dismissal follows revelations of irregularities including a fictitious training project and an attempt to shut down a strategic blood bank.
