Rheinmetall to supply ammunition for British RCH 155 self-propelled howitzers

German defence giant Rheinmetall will supply armaments for the British Army's RCH 155 self-propelled howitzers, acting as a subcontractor. The UK has ordered 72 of the vehicles, which will replace the already-retired AS90 howitzers within a few years. The deal reinforces European defence-industry cooperation.
