Colombian influencers sell a fake image of Poland, fuelling illegal migration
Colombian influencers on TikTok are promoting a false image of Poland to their followers, claiming workers can easily earn 10,000 złoty net and live comfortably even by collecting bottles for recycling. In reality, many operate as paid recruiters, encouraging illegal migration and leaving victims stranded in Poland without language skills, jobs or money. The phenomenon is fuelling a wave of undocumented Colombian arrivals.
