80-year-old Janina M. drugged men she met through matrimonial ads and robbed them

Janina M., an 80-year-old retiree, spent years travelling across Poland visiting men she met through matrimonial classified ads in newspapers. She would spike their soup — typically broth or tripe — with a sedative, then rob the sleeping men of jewellery and cash. The case came to light after a series of similar reports from different parts of the country.
