Anastazja Kuś wins World U20 400m gold, sets Polish record

Anastazja Kuś, 19, from Olsztyn, won gold in the 400m at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon. The Polish athlete set a new Polish junior record in the final, held at Hayward Field. Kuś was not the pre-race favourite but outpaced the top American contender on the home straight to take first place.
