Some Great Lakes fish may live up to 400 years, new study finds
A new study has found that certain fish living in the Great Lakes may live up to 400 years, far longer than the previously estimated maximum of 150 years. The species has been dubbed a "living dinosaur" due to its exceptional longevity. Earlier estimates of the fish's life expectancy have proven significantly underestimated.
