Can diplomacy end Libya's conflict? Country divided since 2014

Libya has remained divided since 2014, with rival governments controlling the east and west of the country. Diplomatic efforts are ongoing in an attempt to find a political resolution to the conflict. Previous mediation attempts have so far failed to produce a lasting agreement.
