Spain to impose border controls against Italy amid Ceuta migrant crisis

Italy introduced border controls after around 78,000 migrants crossed from Morocco into the Spanish exclave of Ceuta. Spain has now announced it will impose border controls against Italy in response to the escalating dispute. The standoff is deepening migration tensions between EU member states.
