Senate confirms new TSA chief as Trump pushes private airport security

The U.S. Senate confirmed a new head of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The confirmation comes as the Trump administration pushes to mandate that smaller airports use private security firms, a plan projected to cut more than 4,500 TSA jobs.
