Senate passes new Russia oil sanctions bill, sends it to House

The US Senate easily passed a bill imposing new sanctions on purchasers of Russian oil, named in honour of Senator Lindsey Graham. The measure now heads to the House of Representatives for consideration. The bill is designed to increase financial pressure on Russia.
