Polish priest refused funeral over insufficient envelope payment

Parish priest Andrzej Paszyński in Starczówek allegedly refused to conduct a funeral, deeming the money offered in an envelope by the family insufficient. The deceased's relatives and parishioners brought the matter to the media, and a complaint was filed with the Wrocław diocese. The diocese has announced it will launch an explanatory inquiry into the priest's conduct.
