Tesla, Rivian and GM still refuse CarPlay — here's why

CarPlay is a top priority for most car buyers, but Tesla, Rivian and GM continue to reject the platform. Tesla relies on its own software ecosystem, Rivian on its proprietary infotainment system, and GM dropped CarPlay in favour of Google Built-In. None of the three manufacturers has signalled any plans to reverse course.
