T-Mobile has quietly discontinued its better-value phone plan after it was available for less than a year. The company used the rollout of new "2.0" plans and 36-month phone installment options as cover for removing the deal, which had been marketed as a limited-time offer. Existing customers on the old plan may be forced to switch to pricier options.
