DR Congo releases 15 prisoners to M23 rebels as part of Doha peace process

The Democratic Republic of Congo released 15 prisoners to M23 rebels in the first known detainee transfer between the Congolese government and the rebel group in North Kivu. The handover was facilitated by the International Committee of the Red Cross. The transfer is part of the ongoing Doha peace process aimed at ending the conflict.
