Tomiyasu leaves Arsenal to join Crystal Palace on permanent deal

Japanese defender Takehiro Tomiyasu, 27, has joined Crystal Palace after his time at Arsenal, where he had played since 2021. He most recently appeared on loan at Ajax Amsterdam. Tomiyasu featured in two matches at this year's World Cup, where Japan were knocked out in the round of 32 by Brazil, losing 1:2.
