Trump nominates Danielle Thumann to FCC, giving Republicans 3-1 edge

President Donald Trump on Friday nominated Danielle Thumann, currently senior counsel to FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, to serve as an FCC commissioner. If confirmed by the Senate, her appointment would give Republicans a 3-1 majority at the agency, with one seat still vacant. Thumann would serve a full commissioner term.
