Storms batter Poland: over 1,300 firefighter callouts, four people injured

Severe thunderstorms struck Poland on Thursday, triggering more than 1,300 emergency callouts by firefighters across the country. The worst conditions were in the north-east, though dangerous situations were also reported in the Greater Poland region and elsewhere. Four people were injured as a result of the storms.
