Paramount's UK concessions bolster US lawsuit against Skydance-WBD merger

A coalition opposing the proposed merger of Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery argues that the UK's approval of the deal — obtained only after Paramount made "major concessions" — lends "powerful credibility" to the pending legal case in the United States. The group says the dangers to competition in the US market are "unmistakable" given the conditions required by UK regulators. The US lawsuit remains ongoing.
