Senate blocks Szpytma's bid to lead IPN — third competition needed

The Polish Senate has blocked Mateusz Szpytma's candidacy for the position of head of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN). As a result, a new competition for the post will need to be organised for the third time. Szpytma had previously failed to secure the required support in earlier selection rounds.
