Katowice to build solar farm powering city nurseries

Katowice has launched a tender to design and build a solar farm that will supply green electricity to, among others, the city's nurseries. Other Polish municipalities are also considering similar photovoltaic and energy-storage installations. The aim is to cut energy costs and reduce dependence on external suppliers.
