Government bonds rebound in early August as oil prices fall
The first week of August saw a rebound in global government bond markets, driven by falling oil prices. However, according to analyst Emil Szweda of Michael/Ström brokerage, the recovery was not strong enough to dispel concerns about the consequences of rapidly rising public debt levels worldwide.
