Solidarity union to resume signature drive after Senate rejects climate referendum

The Polish Senate on Thursday rejected a presidential initiative to hold a climate referendum. In response, Solidarity trade union leader Piotr Duda declared the union would resume its signature collection campaign. The union has already gathered 450,000 of the required 500,000 signatures.
