IPN finds remains of 55 Volhynia massacre victims in Ostrówki and Wola Ostrowiecka
The Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) has completed exhumations at the sites of former Polish villages Ostrówki and Wola Ostrowiecka in Volhynia, now part of Ukraine. The operation uncovered the remains of 55 victims of the Volhynia massacre along with over 300 personal items. This is the latest phase of IPN's ongoing effort to identify Polish victims of the wartime genocide.
