Three former Orlen executives charged over $378m damage to the company

The Regional Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw has filed charges against three former executives of Orlen subsidiaries at Warsaw's District Court. The prosecution alleges their actions caused damages of $378 million (PLN 1.5 billion) to two group companies through three unfavourable oil purchase contracts via Swiss subsidiary Orlen Trading Switzerland (OTS). The accused face up to 25 years in prison.
