Swimming banned at four Pomeranian beaches due to algae bloom
Four bathing spots in Poland's Pomeranian voivodeship have been closed to swimmers due to a cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) bloom. The bans were flagged with new markers in the official bathing water service. Cyanobacteria blooms can pose serious health risks to bathers.
