Tour de Pologne favourite João Almeida withdraws after crash

João Almeida, winner of the 2021 Tour de Pologne and the top favourite this year, has withdrawn from the race after being injured in a crash during Thursday's stage. The Portuguese rider was unable to continue and pulled out on Friday.
