Tennis-ball-sized hail damages homes and cars in Warmia-Mazury region

Severe thunderstorms swept through the Warmia-Mazury region on Thursday before 7 p.m., bringing hail up to 7 cm in diameter. Fire services reported 19 residential buildings and 10 farm buildings damaged, with tile and asbestos-cement roofs destroyed and car windows smashed. Accompanying winds reached up to 100 km/h according to IMGW.
