Ukraine plans to develop its own ballistic missiles by 2027

President Zelensky announced that Ukraine aims to develop its own ballistic missiles by 2027. He also stressed the urgent need to create an alternative to Patriot air-defence systems. The first concrete results of the development programme are expected by the end of the year.
