Car owner planted pyrotechnic device himself, then called police in Swarzędz

A suspicious device found in a car's fuel tank in Swarzędz near Poznań, which triggered a major emergency response and disrupted traffic, turned out to have been planted by the car's own owner. The man placed the pyrotechnic device himself and then called the emergency services. Investigators spent nearly two weeks identifying the culprit before confirming it was a hoax.
