Poland's first Miecznik-class frigate ORP Wicher nears launch ceremony

In a matter of days, ORP Wicher — the first of three state-of-the-art Miecznik-class frigates ordered by Poland — will undergo its naming ceremony and initial launch. The vessel is valued at several billion zloty and represents a class of warship Poland has never previously operated.
