Korean probe Danuri photographs crater left by SpaceX rocket on the Moon

South Korea's Danuri lunar probe has photographed the crater created when a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket stage struck the Moon's surface. The rocket launched on 15 January 2025, carrying two private lunar landers. Danuri conducted eight imaging sessions, capturing before-and-after comparisons of the impact site and the debris scattered around it.
