Poles bought 9.8 billion złoty in savings bonds in July, led by one-year bonds
Poland's Ministry of Finance reported that individual investors bought savings bonds worth a total of 9.8 billion złoty in July. The most popular instrument was the one-year savings bond (ROR), which accounted for 40 percent of total sales, with nearly 4 billion złoty spent on it. The figures suggest summer holidays did not dampen Poles' appetite for saving.
