Storms batter Poland: nearly 3,000 fire brigade callouts, 5 injured, roofs damaged

Violent storms swept across Poland on Thursday, triggering nearly 3,000 fire brigade interventions, including over 1,300 callouts to clear storm damage. Five people were injured, with widespread roof damage and fallen trees reported. The worst-hit areas were the Warmia-Masuria and Masovia regions.
