A1 motorway repairs begin: 60 km/h limit and expected traffic jams

Poland's road authority GDDKiA has begun repairs on a section of the A1 motorway plagued by surface deformations known as "Fale Dunaju" (Danube Waves). A 60 km/h speed limit is in force during the works. A GDDKiA spokesperson warned that significant traffic jams are expected. The problematic section was opened in 2012.
