Petrol pump prices hold firm despite sharp wholesale fuel price drops
The start of August brought sharp price cuts at Polish refineries, but petrol station prices remained unchanged or even rose, widening the implied retail margin. Drivers have so far seen no benefit from the wholesale drop. The gap between refinery prices and pump prices has grown noticeably.
